The Heath Bistro training sessions are safe and customized to your physical limitations because the sessions factor in your past health history. These sessions temporarily take you out of your comfort zone of physical training as you continue to get healthier and make your own personal transformation to optimizing your health. The Health Bistro trainers work directly and under Dr. D and his specific program guidelines, but bring their own personal style, and champion pedigrees to the health bistro training experience.
The training sessions are specifically designed to complement ketogenic nutrition and also factor in multiple disciplines which include but not limited to: chiropractic and spinal stability, plyometrics, strength training, rehab, sports nutrition, etc.
What makes our program different?
The Health Bistro training experience is special and unique because it focuses and uses the healthiest and most sustainable approach on reaching an individual’s specific goals in a set amount of time of their program. It combines diet, nutrition and exercise to the fullest extent along with the science of ketogenic sport nutrition.
We have three great trainers who can directly relate to the clients they train because they have been in their shoes in the past and have went thru the Dr. D Program on their own personal journeys to becoming champion competitive athletes.
While everyone’s goal and journey is different; we feel it is important that our trainers are clear proof and excellent examples of what we preach at the Health Bistro. As his practice evolved, Dr. D discovered a deeper passion for helping non-competitive athletes and individuals with chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and obesity. Meet the Trainers

Dan Munoz
Born and raised on Guam, Dan is no stranger to the gym or personal training. A multiple Guam and NPC bodybuilding champion. A few of his accolades include:
• Guam Overall Bodybuidling Champion
• California Overall Bodybuilding Champion
• 2nd place at the NPC Nationals
Dan was Dr. D’s first ever Bodybuilding champion athlete and leads his clients by example. He enjoys reading, learning, spending time with his beautiful wife Autumn, family, friends and his pets when he’s not teaching and training his clients in the gym.

Sharlene Santos
Born and raised on Guam, Shalane is one half of the Health Bistro Power Training Couple. A former NPC Washington state Figure Champion Shalane brings her own style and energy to the Health Bistro training.
Shalane was Dr. D’s first coached NPC Figure Champion athlete and really enjoys not only teaching but challenging the patients in the program with her training style. Outside of work Shalane enjoys traveling with her husband,, doing volunteer work, spending time with her family, friends and her pet cats.
Patient Q&A

I joined because after years of trying to diet on my own I would lose weight, but then gain it back shortly after. It was like a hit and miss. After consulting with my wife we both decided to join the program together and support each other throughout the program. I didn’t know what to expect, but I knew I had to remain focused and discipline throughout the program.
The hardest part of the program was making the choice to go in and complete the program. The second hardest part was the extra time i had to put aside for meal prepping and staying away from functions/parties at least for the 1st 3-4 weeks.
The easiest part was not worried about being hungry and what was my next meal it was all thought out and planned in advanced. I would observe my co-workers complaining about being hungry and just eating whatever was convenient and quick. Most of the time their choices were fast food with no real nutrition content.
I learned a lot about nutrition and what works for my body. I’ve been able to lose approximately 55 pounds from 240 to 185 on the program. I’ve been able to maintain my weight between 182-190 for over a year now. My goal is to keep eating healthy and to also indulge on occasions every now and then. This makes the program sustainable with my lifestyle.
I have been and continue to recommend Dr. D’s program to my family and friends. Many have had great results. One in particular also lost over 50 pounds. It’s been a life changing experience. If anyone is unsure about the program, I would recommend interested people looking to make life changing nutrition changes to come in and meet with Dr.D. Due to poor stamina being out breath when walking short distance and over all negative effect on my health at 50 years of age. It was last resort due to witnessing a coworker transformation from heavy to a physically fit person. I said what the heck give a shot it may work
Getting used to eating wholesome foods as opposed to previous processed foods and sugary food and drinks. Totally eliminated all fast foods items.
Staying on course. Food plan was on point. i never was hungry and energy level was great. This a unique experience you had to consume all the food allotted for day to ensure to get the maximum benefit of the plan. I was so full at times I would call Summer to see if the meal plan is correct. Or my measurement was off. She reassured me it was correct. I followed her recommendation and weight starting dropping off for me. First diet plan that worked for me. Visit after visit the weight kept dropping.
I was not believer having gone to so many diet programs previously, Just need to find a doctor who specializes in nutrition such as Doctor Dimalanta who will get the right information to you guide you through it.
Stop thinking about it, take action. You need to consider the implication on your health and over all longevity. If you came to same conclusion as i did. Go in with an open mind and be very honest about your goals and with ever thing take disciplined approach after all you will ultimately receive benefits of your hard work dedication. Don’t waist another day thinking about it. Do it.
